At its 119th ordinary session, held in Cairo, the Council of Arab Economic Unity issued decision 2033/S119 approving the application of the Confederation of Arab Automobile Clubs to join the specialised Arab federations operating within the Council. The decision completes a founding process that began in January 2025 and confers on the Confederation its official standing as a specialised Arab federation under the Arab Economic Unity Agreement.
