Morocco's Ministry of Tourism, Handicrafts and Social and Solidarity Economy announced that the Kingdom received 15.7 million tourists and visitors in the first nine months of 2026, an increase of 5% — more than 717,000 additional arrivals compared with the same period of 2025.
September alone saw more than 1.5 million arrivals, up 8% year on year. According to the Foreign Exchange Office, travel receipts reached MAD 97.9 billion by the end of August, up 9.7%.
Tourism Minister Fatim-Zahra Ammor said the goal of 26 million tourists a year by 2030 is now "closer than ever".
