Morocco received 14.1 million tourists from January to the end of August 2026, up 4.5% on the same period of 2025 — about 608,000 more visitors, according to the Ministry of Tourism.

August alone exceeded two million visitors, 3% more than August 2025.

Tourism Minister Fatim-Zahra Ammor said Moroccan tourism's momentum "now rests on solid and sustainable foundations", adding that the 2023–2026 roadmap shows investment in the sector's key drivers is delivering tangible results.
