Egypt's Cabinet Media Centre said the Grand Egyptian Museum has received nearly 4 million visitors from its opening in November 2025 to the end of August 2026.
Overlooking the Giza pyramids, the museum holds about 50,000 artefacts across 12 halls and is among the world's largest museums devoted to a single civilisation.
It strengthens Greater Cairo's place on Arab travel itineraries, for visitors arriving by air or by road.
